Called Daylight Electric a little before midnight, on a Saturday evening (7/6), with a power issue in our rented home. Larry called right back and was here within 45-minutes.
He identified the issue(s) (all surrounding some rather antiquated and not-to-code wiring in our box, which had melted and arc’d) and was able to restore electricity quite efficiently.
Larry was honest about the issues and said that we needed to have our landlord get someone out here to actually fix the problem (which involves bringing in the local utility company) ASAP.
I was impressed with Larry’s professionalism, quick identification of what was going on, and willingness to provide us with the solution we needed at an affordable price. I also appreciated that he continually stressed that what he had done was a temporary fix and that the landlord would need to make the more thorough repairs.
Considering that it was so late, on a weekend, in the heat, and a complex problem, I actually thought that the charge for the call and repairs were very reasonable.

Called Larry, the owner, on a Monday night at 9 pm after we had a short in our apartment. He arrived quickly, found the problem and fixed it. The cost was very reasonable considering most electricians will not work outside of business hours, and he was very professional, informative and pleasant.
About 10 minutes after he left, we again plugged in a power strip and had another short. It turns out we had a defective power strip from a large well-known Swedish furniture store that was the root of the problem- Larry came back, located the short and fixed it free of charge. I will be calling him any time we need work requiring an electrician, or any time we need an electrician on off hours or on short notice.

Daylight Electric is incredible! Larry did an amazing job hanging a chandelier from my 20 foot ceiling. So good at what he does and so friendly! He even came on a Saturday for me and did the job for hundreds less than another company quoted me. I will be using only Daylight Electric now on for my electrical needs.
